Electrolytic Nickel Plating
We specialize in bright and dull nickel finishes for a diverse range of engineering as well as corrosion protective applications. Decorative and functional, our nickel finishes have durable mechanical properties that allow them to sustain severe operating conditions. They are ideal for varied metal surfaces, including steel, copper & copper-based alloys, as well as zinc.
Our plating solutions strictly adhere to the Mil Spec QQ-N-290 standard nomenclature of class and thickness grades. According to the corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, thermal expansion, as well as aesthetic requirements of customers, we choose standard plating thicknesses from 0.0016” to 0.0002”.
Nickel plating in bright colors is carried out specifically for applications that require high corrosion protection and good aesthetics. For engineering applications, where part deformation and crimping are common, stress free, highly ductile, as well as dull sulfamate nickel finishes are also provided.
